Devlin died Thursday Nov.

23, 2000 in Kingman.

he was 78.

Mr.

Devlin was born June 23, 1922 in Pine River, Minn.

He was a self-employed civil engineer and served in the United States Army in World War II.

Mr.

Devlin is survived by: his wife, Mary Devlin of Kingman; one sister, Kathryn Keiser of Simi Valley, Calif.; two brothers, William Devlin of Las Vegas, Nev.

and Robert Devlin of Meadview; one niece and several nephews.

A funeral service for Mr.

Devlin will be conducted at 2 p.m.

Monday Nov.

27, 2000 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Bob Mills and the Masonic Lodge Funeral Committee.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mary M.

Sherriff died Thursday Nov.

23, 2000 in Kingman.

She was 83.

Mrs.

Sherriff was born Sept.

29, 1917 in Emporia, Kan.

She was a bookkeeper and member of Kingman Presbyterian Church.

Mrs.

Sherriff is survived by: her husband, Robert Sherriff of Kingman; two daughters, Julie Gibson and Linn Crowder, both of Alamosa, Colo.; one son, Joe Sherriff of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Helen Metz of Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, William Wintersteen of Fresno, Calif., Richard Wintersteen of Cummins, Ga., and Harold Wintersteen of Endicott, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Sherriff in 1997.

Visitation is planned from 2-4 p.m.

today at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at a later date at Kingman Presbyterian Church.

Sutton Crematory is handling cremation arrangements.

Madeline Welch Kretschmer

Madeline Welch Kretschmer died Sunday Nov.

19, 2000 in Kingman.

She was 86.

Mrs.

Kretschmer was born Sept.

6, 1914 in East St.

Louis, Ill.

She was a member of St.

Johns United Methodist Church, and enjoyed crocheting and watching ball games.

Mrs.

Kretschmer is survived by: two daughters, Sherry Gross of Kingman, and Norma Hatter of Glendale; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

A funeral service for Mrs.

Kretschmer is scheduled today in Rantoul, Ill.

She will be buried in Fisher, Ill.

The family has requested any donations be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Kidney Foundation or Alzheimer's Society.

Virginia M.

Erickson died Wednesday Nov.

22, 2000 in Kingman.

She was 79.

Mrs.

Erickson was born June 26, 1921 in Rochester, Mich.

She and her late husband, Jake Erickson, moved to Arizona in 1971, settling in Oatman where they owned and operated the Glory Hole Antique Store until retiring to Kingman.

She was a member of the Kingman Republican Women, Needles Rock Club, and a 4-H leader.

Mrs.

Erickson is survived by: two daughters, Judy Noland and Lori Warring, both of Kingman; two sons, Keith Erickson of Prescott and David Erickson of Placentia, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A service for Mrs.

Erickson will be conducted noon to 2 p.m.

Tuesday Nov.

28, 2000 at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.

The family is accepting flowers or donations to Sarah's House in memory of Mrs.

Erickson.

Marjorie Laird

Marjorie Laird died Thursday Nov.

23, 2000 in Kingman.

She was 82.

Mrs.

Laird was born Jan.

12, 1918 in Angley Springs, Colo.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs.

Laird is survived by: her husband, Ray Boyd Laird of Kingman; one son, Thomas Laird of Oregon; one daughter, Carolyn Trontoski of California; and one brother, Walter Conrad of Woodacre, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Linda Elaine Gist

Linda Elaine Gist died Friday Nov.

17, 2000, in Kingman.

She was 54.

Mrs.

Gist was born Sept.

21, 1946, in Oregon and came to the Kingman area 20 years ago from California.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs.

Gist is survived by: her husband, John Gist; two sons; one daughter; one brother, Greg Seay; one sister, Sue Fitzgerald; her mother, Elaine of Prescott; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at her home Friday Nov.

24, 2000.
