More than 30 unusual entries are scheduled to participate in the Yada Yada Parade this Saturday.
"The Chamber of Commerce will participate with a shopping-cart drill team, a Southwest Hospitality cheer-leading squad will teach the crowd the Gigolo and there will be a cellular phone band, to name just a few of the unusual entries in the parade," said parade organizer Sue Ferry.
"This is a fun event for the community, a kick-off for Kingman1s Downtown Merchants Association Antique Fair & Auction on Saturday and Sunday," Ferry said.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m.
in front on the Mohave County Courthouse, proceed down Fourth Street to Beale Street, then west on Beale to Locomotive Park.
Locomotive Park is the location for the fair, which will include food, antiques and retail vendors from throughout the area.
Fair hours are 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
The auction will take place on Sunday afternoon on First Street.
Individuals, groups, organizations and businesses have entered the event called, "The Anything Goes Parade."
Some participants will march and others will be riding on floats in the parade, Ferry said.
