Bernard died Tuesday Aug.

29, 2000 in Golden Valley.

He was 50.


Bernard was born July 13, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio.

He was a U.S.

Air Force veteran of four years and retired as a master sergeant in the U.S.

Army after 16 years.


Bernard is survived by: two daughters, Jessica Lynn Bernard of Stafford, Va.

and Melissa Jean Bernard of North Carolina; one son, Christopher Michael Bernard of North Carolina; his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Bernard of Springboro, Ohio; one sister, Paula Barrett of Centerville, Ohio; one brother, Kevin J.

Bernard of Carlisle, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr.

Bernard will be held 11 a.m.

to 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday Sept.

5, 2000 at Swart Funeral Home in West Carrollton, Ohio.

That will be followed by a service and burial in Dayton National Cemetery.

Mann died Thursday Aug.

31, 2000, in Kingman.

She was 101.


Mann was born June 20, 1899 in Denver, Colo.

She was last employed by the Catholic Church as a secretary from St.

Anthony's Mission School in Zuni, N.M.

Prior to 1939, Mrs.

Mann was a secretary for Shell Oil Co.

and Western Union Telegraph Co., she temporarily lost employment due to the Great Depression.

She was a member of Kingman Presbyterian Church and actively attended St.

Mary's Catholic Church.

She was active in short-horn milking cattle.


Mann is survived by: her daughter, Priscilla Stotts of Tebbetts, Mo.; son James Mann of Kingman; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Voltare will be held at 1:30 p.m.

on Tuesday Sept.

5, 2000, at Kingman Presbyterian Church, 2425 Detroit Ave.

Cremation will be handled by Sutton Crematory.
