Museum Transition

Karen Goudy is turning over the reins of the Powerhouse Route 66 Museum to newly appointed director Paul Snyder.

Goudy has worked for the past year through the construction of the museum site, building the displays and collecting artifacts.

Snyder, a 20-year resident of the area in the Hualapai Mountains, will be in charge of the day-to-day operations.

Goudy, former director of the Mohave Museum of History and Art, will "retire" again.
