Parade, art and antique fair set for this weekend

The Downtown Merchants Association and Kingman Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor the second annual Art and Antique Fair June 2-3 at Locomotive Park.

The Yada Yada Parade kicks off the event at 10 a.m.

June 2.

The parade begins at the courthouse at Fourth and Spring streets, proceeds south on Fourth and turns west on Beale Street to finish at Locomotive Park.

Yada Yada is an anything goes parade where participants put on silly costumes.

Fair hours are 10 a.m.

to 5 p.m.

both days.

There will be food, crafts, antiques, collectibles and original art, just about something for everyone.

Car buffs will find many classic cars on display from the Timeless Cruisers, who also will hold a drawing.

Kingman Fire Department will display one of its old engines.

Kitchens of KAAA/KZZZ radio will appear during the fair.

An auction with a variety of merchandise donated by local merchants and individuals will be held by Fran and Dave Depuy.

It begins at 1:30 p.m.
