Ina Mae Kornmeyer

Ina Mae Kornmeyer, a Kingman resident, died Thursday April 26, 2001, in Lake Havasu City.

She was 100.


Kornmeyer was born May 14, 1900, in Liberty Township, Osborne County, Kan., to George Washington Case and Myrtus Mable (Rudy) Case.


Kornmeyer came to Kingman in 1965.

She worked as a quality assurance inspector for Boeing Aircraft, was manager of the PX restaurant at Beale Air Force Base and was a housewife.


Kornmeyer is survived by: two brothers, Paul Case of Wichita, Kan., and Ralph Case of Independence, Mo.; one son, Roy Kornmeyer of Kingman; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Her husband of 71 years, Roy Kornmeyer Sr.; six sisters, Violet, Matilda, Maude, Vesta, Peggy and Anna; two brothers, Elmer and Horace; and many nieces and nephews preceded her in death.

Pastor Dennis Colvig will officiate a memorial service at 2 p.m.

Sunday May 6, 2001, at Kingman Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingman branch of the Salvation Army.
