Dolan Springs woman killed in rollover

DOLAN SPRINGS – A rollover accident Monday claimed the life of a Dolan Springs woman.

Mohave County sheriff's deputies responded to the call about 10:30 a.m.

on First Street two miles west of U.S.

93, a press release from the MCSO stated.

Jessie L.

Barror, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Apparently, her vehicle swerved left and then back right, hit an embankment and rolled twice.

Further investigation is pending.

Traffic stop leads to arrest on felony

KINGMAN – A Kingman man was cited for driving on a suspended license Sunday night during a traffic stop that led to a felony arrest.

Kingman police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2500 block of East Andy Devine Avenue, KPD Lt.

Dean Brice said.

A records check on a 15-year-old female passenger turned up a felony failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court on an original charge of shoplifting.

A search of the female allegedly turned up a methamphetamine pipe in her purse.

The teenager was booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center on the warrant and a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The driver was cited and released.

Man booked on felony charge of assault

KINGMAN – Eric William Lipp, 30, of Higley, Ariz.

was booked on a felony charge of aggravated assault on a detention officer following an incident Friday night.

About 7:30 p.m.

Mohave County sheriff's deputies went to the Mohave County Jail and contacted the detention officer, a press release from the MCSO stated.

The officer stated Lipp, who was arrested earlier in the day on four misdemeanor charges, had approached him aggressively and wrapped a leg around his waist.

Lipp was booked on the additional charge.

Alleged assault leads to two arrests

WIKIEUP – Two Wikieup residents were arrested Saturday night on felony charges.

Mohave County sheriff's deputies, with help from the Department of Public Safety, responded to an assault in the 18000 block of U.S.

Highway 93, a press release from the MCSO stated.

Lee Asley Christianson, 29, the victim, stated he lost a tooth when James Loren McNear 33, struck him in the face.

Christianson refused medical treatment at the scene.

After questioning, McNear was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault.

A records check on Christianson revealed a felony failure to appear warrant from Colorado.

The two men were booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Local man arrested on assault charge

KINGMAN – Ricardo Nickolas Sanchez, 33, of Kingman was arrested Sunday on a felony charge of aggravated assault against a minor/domestic violence.

Mohave County sheriff's deputies went to the 2500 block of Devlin Avenue, where they contacted the 15-year-old female victim, a press release from the MCSO stated.

She reported arguing with Sanchez, her stepfather, and that he allegedly slapped her in the face.

She also said she slipped and fell when grabbed by one arm by Sanchez, who had left the scene before deputies arrived.

Deputies located Sanchez in the 500 block of Park Street and took him into custody following questioning.

He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

The Kingman Fire Department responded to an odor of gas, a minor injury accident, a bee concern and 12 medical calls.

The Golden Valley Fire Department responded to a well check, a burn permit check and two medical calls.

The Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire Department in Dolan Springs responded to a rollover accident with one fatality and two medical calls.
