Curtis said his daughter always gets up early and takes out the trash before catching a bus for school, which she did Friday morning.
Curtis said when he got home about 4 p.m.
on Friday, Deana was not there, which he said was unusual.
He learned from some of Deana's friends that she had gotten off the bus at the intersection of Erickson and Fort Beale Road about 3:45 p.m.
He checked her room, found clothing and other items missing and contacted the Kingman Police Department to file a runaway juvenile report just after 5 p.m.
"Deana also took her brand new acoustic guitar with black case and backpack that's black and yellow," Curtis said.
