Counterfeit money leads to arrest
KINGMAN -- Kingman Police officers arrested Joshua Daniel Smith, 19, of White Hills at about 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday for allegedly passing counterfeit money at a business in the 1900 block of East Andy Devine Ave., in Kingman.
The arrest resulted from a call from the business. Police allege that Smith admitted to passing about $300 in counterfeit bills, and that he was in possession of more couterfeit money during his arrest. He was booked into the Mohave Couty Jail on two felony counts of forgery. Police believe the counterfeit money was created and printed on a home computer and printer.
Warrant leads to felony arrests
KINGMAN -- A Kingman police officer conducting a traffic stop in the area of Fort Beale Road and Ericson Drive, Kingman, ended up arresting the driver, James Donald Fulkerson, on misdemeanor warrant. After a search of his vehicle, Fulkerson also was arrested on two other charges, Class 6 felony possession of drug paraphernalia and Class 5 felony possession of dangerous drugs, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Rock-throwing results in charges
KINGMAN -- Kingman resident Mark Elliott Terry, 51, was arrested at about 1 a.m. Thursday. Kingman police officers responded to calls regarding a male throwing rocks at area business windows and cars. Officers said Terry allegedly took off running when KPD officers stopped to talk to him. After a brief pursuit on foot, the officers apprehended him. An ensuing investigation determined Terry allegedly had caused criminal damage to vehicles and businesses along Stockton Hill Road. Terry was booked into the Mohave County Jail on seven Class 5 counts of felony criminal damage.
