Jerry Brock passed away on July 26, 2005, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 17, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio, and moved to Kingman in 1947 with his mother and father, Margaret and Ralph Brock, and sister, Marjorie.
He attended Kingman schools and graduated from Mohave County Union High School. He met his future wife, Mary, while in school, and they married in 1961.
He and his wife have been members of the Kingman business community for many years. They established Arizona Building Materials, Brock Construction Company, Mohave Garden Apartments, and he was a real estate developer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Susan Mankowski and Dr. Jeri Lynn Brock, both of Washington state; three grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Jim Carlson; mother and father-in-law, Sonny and Mamie Pemberton-May; and a large extended family. He was loved by many and will be missed.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring St., Kingman.
A reception will be held at the Elks Lodge.
