Laurence LeRoy Edwards

Laurence LeRoy Edwards, 64, of Golden Valley died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Golden Valley. He was born Nov. 19, 1941, in Santa Ana, Calif.

Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Blanche Catherine Gill

Blanche Catherine Gill, 88, a resident of Kingman since 1943, passed away Friday, Dec. 9. 2005, at Desert Highlands Care Center. She was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Buffalo, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother in the New York area. She is survived by eight children, 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She and Paul Merrill Gil were married Dec. 23, 1938, in Colden, N.Y. He passed away April 9, 1983.

Residing in Kingman are her two sons, Timothy Gill and Gary Gill, and one daughter, Nancy Wood. Other children out of state include Fern McQuilliam, Hazel Martinez, David Gill, Joyce Marion and Richard Gill. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother. She will be remembered lovingly by her children and friends.

Blanche was the former night manager at Stony Wold Motel and a member of Flagstaff Tabernacle Church.

The services were held today at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Richard D. Ruggles

Richard D. Ruggles, 77, of Kingman died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Kingman. He was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Akron, Ohio.

Richard was a veteran of the United States Army and a Machinist/Jig and Fixture Builder for McDonnell Douglas Corporation.

He is survived by his daughters, Roberta (John) Egbert of Deltona, Fla., and Paula (Mike) Miller, also of Deltona; his grandson and namesake, Richard Ruggles of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Dorothy (Larry) Owens of Paso Robles, Calif., Jean (Walt) Cameron of Murphys, Calif., and Marian Vondollen, also of Paso Robles; and brothers, Tom Ruggles of Northridge, Calif., and Jim Ruggles of Paso Robles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his wonderful lady-love, Alice Morris.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and George Ruggles; two brothers, George Ruggles Jr., and Elmer Ruggles; and one sister, Lucille Dearth.

Memorial services will be deferred until 2006. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Diana Harrison

Diana Harrison, 69, of Kingman died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in Kingman. She was born June 5, 1936, in Richmond, Calif.
