Authorities seek Golden Valley man in double homicide

KINGMAN ­ Mohave County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Robert Ronald Benjamin, 43, of Golden Valley.

Benjamin is wanted for questioning in connection with a double homicide that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning at a residence in the 4500 block of Marilyn Lane just outside of the city limits.

Witnesses identified Benjamin as being at the residence earlier on the evening of the murders.

At about 1:47 a.m. Monday, MCSO deputies responded to a report of gunshots on Marilyn Drive and found a man and woman dead from gunshot wounds at the scene, according to information from the Sheriff's Office.

They have been identified as Andrea Lynn Eklund, 34, and Robert Al Reichenbacker, 44, both of Kingman.

Mohave County Sheriff's detectives have determined the two were murdered.

No details are available on how many times the victims were shot, what kind of gun inflicted the fatal wounds, what kind of wounds the victims sustained or exactly where deputies found the bodies. Autopsies are pending and the investigation continues.
