Lloyd McDowell

Lloyd Eugene McDowell, born May 15, 1926, went home to be with his Lord on Sept. 29, 2005. He was a proud World War II veteran.

He is survived by one son, Robert E. of California, a daughter-in-law, Patty; two grandchildren, Renay and Robert Denise; a great-grandchild on the way; a brother, Estel Mac, of Kingman; a sister, Mary of Arkansas; and his extended family Georgia, Donna, Brittany and Tommy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arther and mother, Nellie Estes and two brothers, Virgel and George.

The service will be held Tuesday Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. at the VFW on John L Ave. There will be a pot luck following the service.

Garnett Class

Garnett "Dottie" Class passed away on September 22, 2005. She was one of 10 children born to Ida and John Beck. She was born in Madison, S.D. on Jan. 20, 1919.

She was an excellent homemaker, gardener, landscaper and loving and devoted wife to her husband of 31 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband, John Class of Kingman; son, Lynn Williams of Winfred, S.D.; brothers, Taylor and Leslie Beck of Madison; step-children, Debra Smith of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Jeffrey (Debbie) Class of Upland, Calif.; grandchildren, Samantha Shutloffel, Trista Lantaff, and Brent Smith of S.D., and Joseph, John, James, and Melody Class of California, and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family thanks all that have helped through this difficult time.
