Due dates on first half of property taxes adjusted to Nov. 1

KINGMAN Due to programming delays, the 2005 personal/unsecured property tax due date has been changed for the first half installment. Although in the mail now, the bills' first half will be due Tuesday.

The delinquent date for this first installment is at 5 p.m. Dec. 1.

Tax bills amounting to $100 or lower must be paid in full by the Dec. 1 deadline.

The second-half installment is due by March 1, and is delinquent after 5 p.m. May 1. To avoid accruing interest, the full 2005 personal property tax amount can be paid on or before Dec. 31.

Even those who do not receive a tax bill are responsible for paying it on time.
