MCSO releases name of victim

KINGMAN – The chief suspect in the murder of a man whose body was found in a storage unit in Massachusetts told detectives the victim was Kenneth R. Stuart.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reported on Wednesday that a positive identification of the body could take weeks to confirm. The MCSO said Stuart was born in 1942 but released no other information about him.

Oral Wayne Nobles, 71, allegedly confessed to investigators on Monday to killing a man three to six years ago in Golden Valley.

Authorities currently believe that Nobles drove the body across country, but investigators have yet to confirm his story.

The body was found in a storage facility in Whitman, a suburb of Boston and Nobles’ former home. The owner called police to report a foul odor emanating from a unit rented to Nobles.

Nobles was living with his brother, Jesse Nobles, 80, in Mohave Valley, reportedly recuperating from injuries of an accident he had while driving a truck for his job in Las Vegas. He is being held without bond on a charge of second-degree murder.
