KINGMAN – Two 17-year-old male juveniles were taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center early Wednesday following a one-vehicle accident.
About 4:12 a.m., Kingman Fire Department personnel responded to the intersection of Airway Avenue and Stockton Hill Road, battalion chief Bill Johnston said.
The vehicle first struck a fire hydrant, then crashed into a tree, Sgt. Rusty Cooper of the Kingman Police Department said.
The driver, who was restrained behind the wheel, suffered minor facial trauma. The other juvenile was asleep in the back seat and not restrained. He complained of leg pain after the accident.
Both juveniles were cited for a misdemeanor violation of minor consumption of alcohol, Cooper said.
River Medical took both victims to KRMC, where they were treated and released.
