KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Theodore Steinberger, 46, of Kingman early Saturday on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

About 12:54 a.m., deputies contacted Steinberger during a traffic stop on Marshall Drive near Packard Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.

Steinberger appeared nervous and consented to a search that allegedly produced a pipe with the odor of burnt marijuana in his front pocket. He was taken into custody.

A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed syringes, spoon, cotton and a glass vial containing a white crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Steinberger was booked into Mohave County Jail. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
