Marge Jean Bybee
Margie Jean (Todd) Bybee, 67, of Kingman died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Wheatland, Wyo. She came to the Kingman/Mohave County area in 2000 from Lyman, Neb.
Margie spent many years as a child care giver, some families as long as three generations. Her next love was cooking, any and everything. She worked as cook in restaurants, cooked for Diversified Care, and catered baked goods and candies for weddings and parties, besides the many meals she loved cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her best friend and caregiver, Donald Kaufman; her mother, Mildred Carr of Mitchell, Neb.; two daughters, Elsie (Wayne) Behnken of Kingman, Roni (Kyle) Strain of Hayfield, Minn.; one son, Russ (Jill) Bybee of Willow, Alaska; four grandchildren, Jamie (Nick) Rink of Byron, Minn., Brian Behnken of Kingman, Kody Strain and Riley Strain, both of Hayfield, Minn.; four sisters; three brothers; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Walter Todd, and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Phoenix Children's Hospital, 1920 E. Cambridge Ave., Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85006.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 1730 Kino Ave. A reception will follow the memorial service at St. John's.
James Thomas Loftus
James Thomas Loftus, 66, of Kingman died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Nov. 3, 1940, in Minneapolis.
