James Guy Drummond, also known as Jim, was born Aug. 24, 1955, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. He passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2006.
James graduated from high school in 1973 in Arvada, Colo. He enlisted in the Navy, and after serving his country, he met and married Carolyn Irene Lee. To this union a son was born, Lucas James Drummond Sr. While James raised his son Lucas and two stepchildren, Mike and Rogene Gardner, they lived and worked in Dove Creek, Colo.
James loved the outdoors. The mountains and the Dolores River were his favorite places. He spent the last 10 years in Kingman.
Surviving James is his son, Lucas Sr.; wife, Stephanie; and children, Desirhae Lynn, Little Lucas and Logan Michael of Kingman; his parents, Don and Alys Drummond of Cahone, Colo.; one sister, Linda Coffey and husband Mike Coffey; and two nephews, Nick and Grant Coffey of Dove Creek.
Also surviving are a brother, Doug; niece, Dana Mae Drummond of Kingman; brother, Jeff Drummond and his wife Shirel of Denver; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Metzer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and the Troy family, Steve, Tracey, Debbie and Gloria.
James had lots of aunts, uncles and many friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Henry Harrison Dreyer, 72, of Kingman died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Inglewood, Calif.
