On Jan. 31, 2006, Paul Chamberlain passed away while at Arizona Heart Hospital and went home to be with the Lord.
Paul was born May 22, 1921 in Moundsville, W.Va. He and his family moved to Arizona in 1959, and in 1968, they moved to Kingman, making it their permanent home. Over the years, Paul worked for the post office, El Paso Mine, Duvall Mine and the bus barn. During his retired years, he was never “retired;” he was always around to help his family, friends and anyone who needed help.
Paul is a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary Chamberlain; and his three sons, Paul Chamberlain II, Charles Chamberlain (Agnes) and David Chamberlain (Adrienne). Paul will rejoin his daughter who preceded him in death, Mary Beth Storms. Paul will also be missed by his nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 4220 North Sierra Road on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. with Pastor George Gilbert presiding.
A private graveside service is pending in Williams.
Margaret M. Young
In loving memory of Margaret M. Young, born Feb. 11, 1919, and went to the Lord Jan. 25, 2006. She was raised in Charles City, Iowa, by Edward and Anna Matson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darnell Young; granddaughter, Renee Guimont; her parents; and three brothers, Noel Matson, Harley Matson and Edward Matson.
She is survived by six children, Jack Young, 68; Barbara Peopping, 67; Janice Guimont, 65; Connie Gronskei, 63; Michael Young, 58; and Carole Jeffries, 53.
She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those that knew our mother know she was full of life; we love her and will miss her dearly.
Thomas Eugene Lavin, 66, of Kingman died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Kansas City, Mo. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
