Hyer wins bowling tournament

KINGMAN ­ The Kingman Women's Bowling Association held its first annual USBC Singles Championship Tournament on Dec. 11.

The winners of the tournament, which included three games plus handicap, were as follows:

First place went to Anesa Hyer with 704 pins; second place went to Edie Walls with 642 pins; and third place went to Lisa Olson with 633 pins.

The KWBA is also selling a cookbook. The "Favorite Recipe" cookbooks are a collection of 200 recipes KWBA members submitted. The cookbooks are selling for $9 each and will be available in mid-January. Information is available at Cerbat Lanes on Stockton Hill Road in Kingman.

The KWBA will be back in action when the city tournament is held Feb. 1, 4-5.
