WilmaSabree-Grant - Jodi Lynn Ward - William Lee Pharoah - Lena Penny Jones

Wilma "Billie" Sabree-Grant passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, with her family by her side. Wilma was born April 29, 1924, in Huntington, W.Va. She married Ira "Tody" Grant on Sept. 29, 1939, in Huntington.

They moved to Santa Paula in 1958, then moved to Kingman in 1972.

Wilma returned to Santa Paula in 1999, where she remained until her passing. Wilma was involved with Feed the Children National Association. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.

She also loved going to casinos and playing bingo on Thursday nights.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Tody; parents, Charles and Nora Sabree; and brother, Charles Sabree.

She is survived by her children: sons, Richard Allen Grant and wife Ellen of Kingman, William Marshall Grant and wife Janet of Santa Paula, Charles "Eddie" Grant and wife Becky of Santa Paula; and daughter: Shelley Sabree Edwards and husband Larry of Santa Paula; grandsons, Charlie Grant of California, Kevin Grant of Arizona, Wayne Edwards of California and Daren Grant of California; and granddaughters, Linda Mayberry of California, Tammy Berg of California, Heidi Daly of Arizona, Melissa Rogers of Utah, April Poole of California, and Shana (Grant) Kolek of California. She is also survived by 21 beautiful great-grandchildren.

Mom, Billy, Grandma Billy, Grandma Bully, Grandma Chico, we love and miss you.

Pending memorial services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Ojai Road in Santa Paula.

Wilma's remains will be taken to Kingman to be laid to rest with her husband, Tody.

On Jan. 2, 2006, the Lord unexpectedly took our Jodi Lynn Ward from us.

Surely He must have needed her more, but she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Jodi was born Dec. 18, 1960, in Norfolk, Va. She moved to Kingman in the late 1990s.

She worked as an invaluable employee at Mid-Fifties Auto for nine years. She loved helping and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her wonderful son, Michael Gaffney of Kingman; her loving life-mate, Charles Dubarton of Kingman; her father, Harry Irivine of Austin, Texas; and her sister, Jill Gray.

Funeral services are being held at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman, on Monday, Jan. 16.

The doors will be open at 10 a.m. for viewing to begin your final good-byes. Interment will follow shortly after at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road, Kingman.

William Lee Pharoah, 64, of Kingman died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Laramie, Wyo.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman.

Lena Penny Jones passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, in Phoenix. She was born Feb. 19, 1958, in Eugene, Ore.

Penny is survived by her life partner, Bobby Joe Regester of Kingman and two daughters, Julie of Springfield, Ore., and Jessica Jones of Kingman, as well as two sisters and two brothers, and many friends.

Memorial services will be held between 2 and 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4536 Patsy Drive (at Northern).

There will be a potluck gathering of family and friends immediately following.
