KINGMAN – A Kingman man allegedly caused an accident on Andy Devine Ave. on Thursday, then fled the scene.
According to Kingman Police, he also became combative when officers tried to arrest him.
Roger Seitz, 42, was booked into Mohave County Jail and charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident, endangerment and resisting arrest, all felonies. Police also charged him with a misdemeanor count of DUI.
On Thursday afternoon, KPD responded to a three-vehicle injury accident in the 3200 block of Andy Devine Ave.
Prior to the officers’ arrival, it was reported that the at-fault vehicle, a gray 1991 Chevrolet pickup, had fled the scene.
Police said that the suspect’s vehicle was east bound on Andy Devine Ave. approaching the intersection of Airway and rear-ended a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup.
The force of this impact caused a subsequent impact to a 2006 Chrysler. The occupants of vehicles two and three sustained minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene.
Officers found the suspect’s vehicle in the 4400 block of Charles Drive and contacted the driver.
The officer attempted to take Seitz into custody but he tried to resist the officer and needed to be physically restrained. Neither the officer nor Seitz was seriously injured during the altercation.
Seitz was wanted on outstanding warrants from the Kingman Justice Court for DUI and DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Mary Patricia Menard, 34, of Kingman on Thursday on two Kingman Justice Court felony warrants charging her with dangerous drug violation and failure to appear.
Detectives made a traffic stop at Bank Street and Northern Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.
Menard was contacted and records check run on her. It revealed the warrants.
She was booked into Mohave County Jail.
