Peggy Anne Bivins, 54, of Kingman suddenly passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005. She was born Nov. 4, 1951, in Petosky, Mich.

In 1969, Peggy moved to California where she met Jack. They married on Aug. 25, 1973. They started their own tax business. In 1985, they moved to Kingman and brought their business. Peggy maintained her tax business and was also employed by Henry W. Varga, C.P.A., until her death.

Peggy enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader for many years. She loved to crochet and sew baby blankets and clothes for her friends and family. She was a breeder of Airedale Terriers with her husband. After Jack passed away in 2002, Peggy was able to travel. She got to see her sister, Elaine, and brother, Bob, again after 26 years. She also got to see the country. She saw Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and many other sites. Peggy had such a “big” heart that she put everyone else first, making sure her new grandson had everything.

Peggy was preceded in death by husband Earl “Jack” and parents John Albert Hathaway and Vera Himebaugh. She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Voigt and Patti Bivins of Kingman; grandson, Christope Voigt, just born on Nov. 8, 2005; foster grandson, Karter Smith; sister, Elaine Holmes of Alanson, Mich.; three brothers, Robert Hathaway of Gaylord, Mich., Steve Hathaway of Texas and John Hathaway; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was cremated and services will be announced at a later date.

Terri Lynn Irving, 50, of Kingman died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Kingman. She was born March 1, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif.

Viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday a Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Willa Mae Thomen, 63, of Kingman died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, in Kingman. She was born June 13, 1942, in Safford.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Tommy Chan, 84, of Kingman died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Oct. 31, 1921, in China.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Lutheran Church, with services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Cherry Linda Jackson, 38, of Kingman died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Kingman. She was born May 23, 1967, in Artesia, Calif. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mountain View Cemetery.

Sue Mary Messer, 64, of Kingman died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, in Kingman. She was born Dec. 15, 1941, in Bell, Calif. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Scott L. Smith, 97, of Kingman died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, in Kingman. He was born March 1, 1908, in Leon, Iowa. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Cemetery.
