KINGMAN – Arizona Department of Public Safety officers arrested Kingman resident Daymon Schutze, 29, on Monday. Schutze was found behind the wheel of a 2005 Toyota that was parked on the eastbound shoulder of I-40 near milepost 49. The vehicle was facing westbound, according to DPS. Police allegedly found an open container of alcohol and a methamphetamine pipe in the vehicle.
A records check showed Schutze also had a revoked driver’s license. He was taken to Mohave County Jail and charged with driving on a revoked license and possession of an open container. He could face additional charges pending lab results, a DPS spokesperson said.
GOLDEN VALLEY – Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Jeffrey Wayne Spano, 32, of Golden Valley Thursday afternoon on a felony warrant for parole violation issued from the California Department of Corrections.
California officials contacted the MCSO of a wanted felon that may be in the area. At approximately 1:30 p.m., detectives contacted Spano on the 3500 block of Bryce Road regarding his outstanding warrant. Spano was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – MCSO deputies arrested Ronald Lee Gallagher, 54, of Mohave Valley Thursday evening for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies.
Deputies saw a blue Ford truck traveling at a high rate of speed in a residential area around 8:40 p.m. and conducted a traffic stop on Sycamore Avenue west of Stockton Hill Road.
According to the MCSO, deputies observed Gallagher, the driver, to be extremely nervous and moving items around in the passenger seat. Gallagher allegedly told the deputies that he just needed to get home. A K-9 unit responded and allegedly found a plastic bag containing a white substance, another plastic bag containing marijuana and a glass pipe. The white substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Gallagher was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
