KINGMAN – Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffrey Lee Henderson, 41, of Kingman Thursday afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by the Mohave County Superior Court on original charge of criminal damage. Deputies met Henderson in the 2800 block of Neal Avenue regarding his outstanding warrant. Henderson was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN – A Kingman resident died Friday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

On Jan. 8, James Guy Drummond, 50, was westbound on Route 66 about five miles east of Kingman on a 1978 Kawasaki motorcycle, a news release from the Arizona Department of Public Safety stated.

He lost control of the bike at milepost 64.8 and slid about 700 feet, about 300 feet of which was on the pavement.

Drummond was airlifted to University Medical Center where he died Friday.

KINGMAN – Two people suffered minor injuries Jan. 23 when their Ford pickup truck struck and killed a cow in the roadway on Stockton Hill Road at milepost 24.

Three units and three personnel from the Inland Valley Fire Department responded to the accident about 7 p.m., firefighter Adam Brady said.

The man and woman in the pickup were taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment.

DOLAN SPRINGS – A man was critically injured Sunday in a rollover accident on U.S. 93.

About 9:30 a.m., three units and five personnel from the Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire Department responded to milepost 30, Chief Dave Estenson said.

The man sustained head injuries and was airlifted from the scene to University Medical Center in Las Vegas. The woman in the vehicle was taken by ambulance to Kingman Regional medical Center.

No further information was available.

KINGMAN – Kingman Police arrested Aaron E. Tennant, 33, of Kingman early Sunday on a felony DUI warrant, felony charge of possession of marijuana and misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

About 12:10 a.m., Tennant was contacted during a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Kino Avenue, a news release from the KPD stated.

A records check turned up the suspended license and felony warrant from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Tennant was taken into custody and searched. The search allegedly produced marijuana. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
