KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Norann Hayden, 30, of Kingman Sunday evening on drug possession and disorderly conduct/domestic violence charges.
At approximately 10:43 p.m., deputies responded to a incident in the 3100 block of McVicar Avenue. As deputies approached the residence, they heard a woman yelling and screaming. Deputies also heard a male subject speaking calmly to the woman and asking her to keep her voice down. Deputies contacted the woman, identified as Hayden. Hayden was taken into custody without incident.
A search of Hayden allegedly revealed numerous plastic bags containing a white crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. Deputies talked to the 30-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he and his wife, Hayden, have been separated about three years and she showed up at his house that evening and she would not leave. Hayden was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – On Sunday about 2 a.m., KPD responded to a tavern in the 2600 block of Stockton Hill Road on a report of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers found that Josh James Cavender, 23, of Kingman was being held down on the ground in the parking lot by another patron of the tavern. Investigation revealed that Cavender and another male suspect had allegedly brandished handguns and pointed them at this patron during a verbal dispute.
At some point during the altercation, the patron grabbed Cavender and held him on the ground. During this time the second suspect fired several shots into the air and fled on foot.
A ground (KPD and MCSO) and air search (AZ DPS Ranger helicopter) of the surrounding neighborhood was conducted but the suspect was not found. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect that fled on foot is described as being a Hispanic male, 5 foot, 9-inches, 185 pounds, having a shaved head and was wearing tan-colored pants and a white shirt.
Cavender was booked into the Mohave County Jail and charged with aggravated assault, a class 3 felony, and disorderly conduct with a weapon, a class 6 felony.
GOLDEN VALLEY – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas David Messina, 40, of Golden Valley Sunday evening for criminal damage/domestic violence, a felony.
Approximately 9:54 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence incident in the 3900 block of Earl Drive and contacted the 32-year-old female victim. The victim reported that her brother, Messina, backed his Ford Taurus into her Chevrolet Blazer. The victim also reported that Messina threw a rock and broke her back window.
Deputies contacted Messina. During conversations with Messina, he allegedly admitted to backing into the victim’s vehicle. Messina was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Scott Ernest Pate, 37, of Kingman on Thursday on a felony probation violation warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court and misdemeanor failure to appear warrants from Kingman Justice Court and Bullhead City Municipal Court.
Detectives observed Pate walking in the 4700 block of Melody Street, a news release from the MCSO stated.
They knew about the warrants, took Pate into custody and booked him into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Earl Seymour, 59, of Kingman late Monday morning for unlawful use of means of transportation and aggravated harassment/domestic violence, both felonies.
At approximately 10:51 a.m., deputies responded to a contempt of court call in the 3800 block of Northfield Avenue. Dispatch informed deputies that the victim’s estranged husband, Seymour, was at her house and that the victim has an order of protection against him. While en route, deputies were informed that Seymour took the victim’s white 1982 Cadillac and was traveling east on Northfield Avenue toward Pasty Drive.
A short time later, deputies located and detained Seymour at Thompson Avenue and Thompson Way.
Deputies contacted the 48-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Seymour stopped by her residence at about 10:40 a.m. The victim further reported that Seymour took her vehicle without her permission.
Seymour was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Anthony John Gannone III, 40, of Golden Valley Monday evening on a probation violation felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court on original charge of forgery.
Deputies observed a bicyclist traveling without a head light. At approximately 8:35 p.m., deputies contacted the bicyclist, identified as Gannone, on Northern Avenue and Stockton Hill Road. A records check showed Gannone to have an outstanding warrant. Gannone was taken into custody without incident.
