Eva Emma Bivens, also known as “Grandma” to all who knew and loved here, went to be with our Lord on June 5, 2006, in Kingman.
Eva was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 3, 1931, to Ramon Fredz and Emma Manuela Ayala.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband Bill Bivens and both parents.
Eva is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Rick) Friday of Kingman; sons, Curtice (Keller) Morris of Elk City, Okla., and Jim (Sharon) Banning of Smithers, Canada; one sister, Auria Steeves of Rome, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Rick, Chuck, Karen, Kathy, Sean, Tijana, James and Shayla; and many great-grandchildren.
Eva is also survived by her adopted families, Paul and Amanda Wood and family, Marjorie Pittman and family, Denise Whitney and family, and Cherish and A.J.
Eva spent most of her life disabled, however she always had a smile for everyone and never let her disability get her down. She loved life, her family, gambling and soap operas, and the many people she met on her life’s journey. Eva will be missed by all who loved her and knew her.
Eva’s final resting place on June 13, 2006, was in Wanette, Okla., next to her husband Bill.
Liana J. Mick, 54, of Kingman died Friday, June 16, 2006, in Kingman. She was born Aug. 25, 1951, in New Cumberland, Pa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and the funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at St. Johns United Methodist Church, Kino Ave.
Burial will be at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, Pa.
Arrangements are being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
Clarence Joseph Augustine Jr., 87, of Kingman died Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Kingman. He was born Oct. 28, 1918, in Cleveland.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, at Mountain View Cemetery, Kingman. Arrangements are being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
Mandy Bell Harrison, 76, of Kingman died Sunday, June 18, 2006, in Kingman. She was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Denny, Ky.
Burial will be at Hickman Strunk Funeral Home, Butler, Ky. Arrangements are being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
