KINGMAN – A man apparently despondent over having terminal cancer committed suicide Friday.
About 7:45 a.m., Kingman Police responded to a report of a man down in the hallway between the Kingman Regional Medical Center Cancer Center and Medical Professional Building, KPD Sgt. Rusty Cooper said.
The man shot himself once in the head with a .25-caliber handgun and died at the scene. Cooper said witnesses and surveillance video confirmed the death was a suicide.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeremy Stanley Dulski, 23, of Kingman on Thursday on a felony charge of burglary.
Deputies responded to a burglary call from the Hualapai Valley Fire Department station in the 2400 block of Northern Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.
The fire chief reported returning from a call and detaining a male subject trying to leave the station in yellow pants owned by the department. The subject was identified as Dulski.
After questioning, Dulski was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Kingman Police arrested Miguel Angel Lopez, 26, of Kingman on early Saturday on a felony charge of possession of stolen property.
On June 10, officers took a report on a stolen Honda quad ATV from a residence in the 2600 block of Running Iron Loop, a news release from the KPD stated.
About 1:50 a.m. Saturday, an officer contacted Lopez as he allegedly drove the stolen quad in the 2700 block of Beverly Ave. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Kingman Police arrested Patrick Alan Tarter, 45, of Kingman on Friday night on felony charges of aggravated assault on police officers and aggravated harassment and threatening/domestic violence.
About 8:25 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1900 block of Motor Avenue, a news release from the KPD stated.
Upon arrival, officers confronted Tarter in front of the residence. He allegedly was armed with a handgun that he briefly raised toward officers before throwing it to the ground. Tarter was taken into custody. Further investigation revealed Tarter allegedly threatened another person in violation of a court order.
He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brian Timothy Foster, 29, of Kingman early Saturday on felony charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
About 12:40 a.m., deputies responded to a call about drug activity inside a residence in the 3100 block of Packard Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.
The reporting party stated he allowed a married couple to live with him and that he smelled an odor of marijuana inside the couple’s bedroom. Deputies seized marijuana and a glass pipe found inside the bedroom.
Foster was questioned, then taken into custody and booked into Mohave County Jail.
