KINGMAN – The city approved final plats for eight new subdivisions so far in 2006, all officially recorded, according to the city subdivision report compiled by Development Services.

Six additional subdivisions since January have successfully gone forward with preliminary plat approval, with four others pending and five others currently under review by city staff that should be in front of the Planning and Zoning Commission by fall.

Final plans for a tract of the Hualapai Shadows development up Hualapai Mountain Road was approved on May 17, a subdivision with 127 lots on 31.52 acres.

Part of the Eagleview Estates behind Mohave Community College met final approval, with the phase consisting of 46 lots sitting on about 13 acres.

Serena Grace Meadows is a 40-lot development with final plan approval, sitting on eight acres along the Interstate 40 bridge near the south side of Airway Avenue.

Canyon Bluffs Estates met final approval earlier this year – two phases of the development on the south side of Hualapai Mountain Road totaling 154 lots on about 44 acres.

Morrow Acres III and Nevada Street Estates also passed the final approval stage, the Morrow Acres project proposed for 16 lots on 4.6 acres and the other development planned for 9 lots on 1.38 acres.

Boulder Ranch Estates on the northern edge of the city limits was officially recorded on May 31. The project totals 85 lots on 195 acres.
