Lulu Tennison, 84, of Golden Valley died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Golden Valley.

She was born March 26, 1922, in Stone County, Mo.

Arrangements are being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, Kingman.

Allen Moore

Allen Nelson Moore passed away peacefully at The Gardens on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006. He was born on April 2, 1930, in Oil City, Pa. Allen was a caring husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Allen grew up in Oil City and worked for the National Transit Pipelines for 10 years, then moved to Bagdad, Ariz., with his family in 1968.

He worked for the Cyprus Bagdad Mine as a heavy equipment operator, retiring after 24 years. Allen served in the U.S. Army at Fort Lee, Va., as part of the Quartermaster Brigade, honorably for four years. He and his wife later moved to Kingman in 1995 to retire. Allen worked various jobs while on retirement, and gave a warm smile and friendly welcome to everyone he encountered.

Allen is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore; his daughters, Barbara Thomas, Carla Matthews and her husband, Joey Matthews; four grandchildren, Bridget Thomas, Elizabeth Matthews, Joseph Matthews, and Cristopher Matthews; and three great-grandchildren, Calista, Cameron and Kelsie, all of Kingman.

He is also survived by his brother, Claude Moore of Oil City, Pa.; and his sisters, Wilda Lynn of Titusville, Pa., Phillis Lindsey of Davenport, Fla., and DeLores Howell of Daleville, Ala.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Maude Moore; his son, Andrew Moore; his brother, Kenneth Moore; and his sister, Lena Newell.

His viewing will be at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. today with the rosary from 6 to 7 p.m.

His services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring St.

His spirit will carry on in the hearts of his beloved family forever.

Godspeed always.

He will be greatly missed and always loved.
