GOLDEN VALLEY - A 16-year-old girl sustained minor injuries Monday in a hit-and-run accident.

About 2:53 p.m., an engine and four personnel from the Golden Valley Fire Department responded to the eastbound lanes in the 4200 block of Highway 68, Capt. Tony DeMaio said.

The girl, who was driving and alone, was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center. Department of Public Safety officers are looking for the other vehicle, which left the scene, DeMaio said.

GOLDEN VALLEY - One man and a child were taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center on Tuesday following a hit-and-run accident.

About 7:51 a.m., two units and six personnel from the Golden Valley Fire Department responded to milepost 21 on State Route 68, where a damaged vehicle carrying two adult males was resting in the median, Capt. Dave Martin said.

The driver of the vehicle went to KRMC. The passenger refused treatment.

At 8:02 a.m., a Department of Public Safety officer located the alleged vehicle that left the scene at the intersection of Teddy Roosevelt Road and Brooks Drive.

The male driver was taken into custody and subsequently booked into Mohave County Jail on unspecified charges. There were four children in the vehicle. One was taken to KRMC with unspecified injuries.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jack Lee Buist, 57, of Golden Valley on Thursday on a felony probation violation warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Deputies responded to a call at a residence in the 7600 block of Tertiary Drive, a news release from the MCSO stated.

Buist was contacted and a records check run on him. It turned up the warrant.

Buist was booked into Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Desiree Ann Naylor, 23, of Kingman on Thursday on a felony fraud warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.

Deputies contacted Naylor at a residence in the 4200 block of Arizona Street, a news release from the MCSO stated.

A records check uncovered the warrant and Naylor was booked into Mohave County Jail.
