James L. Morris, 56, of Golden Valley died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was born on March 13, 1950, in Munich, Germany, the son of George L. and Iris Morris.
He graduated from Aledo High School in 1967. He received his Radiological Technician degree from the University of Iowa in 1969 and his Laboratory Technician degree from Eastern Iowa Community College in 1970. He married Vicki Davis in 1970 and shortly after, in 1972, joined the Navy. While in the Navy, he earned his physician's assistant degree.
He and Vicki later had a daughter, Kimberly Dawn, and they later divorced. He married his second wife, Linda Graham, in 1989 and they were also later divorced.
He worked in many communities through the years and was loved and respected by all. He also worked for many police and sheriff departments. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing with his grandchildren, and has always loved taking care of people.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (James) Morris; and his grandchildren, Joden, Tristen and Carson Morris of Wendover, Nev. He is preceded in death by his father, George L. Morris; his mother, Iris Morris; and his daughter, Susan Elizabeth Morris. He was a great dad, grandpa, and most of all, he was a great friend. He will be missed by all.
