Mohave County Sheriff

• James Lawrence Shipman, 60, of Golden Valley arrested on Feb. 2 on a felony warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court on charges of sexual abuse, sexual conduct with minor and sexual assault.

At about 4:30 p.m., detectives contacted Shipman in the 3700 block of Bagdad Road in GoldenValley regarding an outstanding warrant.

Shipman was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

• Kim William Dawson, 39, of Golden Valley arrested on Feb. 8 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for probation violation issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Deputies observed an unlicensed four-wheeler crossing state Highway 68 from Estrella, approaching from the north to the south side.

At about 3:47 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4200 block of state Highway 68 and contacted Dawson, the driver.

A records check showed Dawson to have an outstanding warrant. Dawson was taken into custody without incident.

A search of Dawson allegedly revealed a glass pipe with residue in his front pants pocket. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

• Sabrina Marie Hammontree, 25, of Chloride arrested on Feb. 9 on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Bullhead City Justice Court.

At about 12:50 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Bryce Road in Golden Valley and contacted Hammontree, the driver. A records check showed Hammontree's license to be suspended and an outstanding warrant.

Hammontree was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a marijuana cigarette and marijuana inside a tin case.

Hammontree was booked into the Mohave County Jail and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Roy Delos Estes, 44, of Dolan Springs arrested on Feb. 13 on two counts of misconduct involving weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property, all felonies, along with a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Deputies observed a grey 1988 GM truck traveling without a license plate. At about 2:15 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Pierce Ferry Road near milepost 3 and contacted Estes, the driver.

A records check showed Estes to have an outstanding warrant. Estes was taken into custody without incident.

A computer check on the vehicle's identification number showed that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Las Vegas on June 19.

A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a pistol, rifle, glass pipe, three syringes and a spoon in a brown case.

Estes was booked into the Mohave County Jail and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
