KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cindy Ann Castro, 36, of Kingman on Thursday night on a felony charge of resisting arrest and misdemeanor charge of failure to comply with a peace officer.
About 5:36 p.m., deputies made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Northern Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.
As deputies approached the vehicle, they observed a female subject exit and run toward their patrol unit, whose engine was running, in an effort to gain entry. The woman, identified as Castro, refused commands to step away from the patrol unit.
She was taken into custody and placed in the patrol car.
As deputies continued their investigation, Castro reportedly began yelling and pounding her head on a window. Deputies tried to calm the woman, but she continued her disruptive behavior.
Castro was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Aaron Todd Harper, 20, of Kingman on Thursday night on two outstanding probation violation warrants.
About 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2700 block of Potter Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated.
Upon arrival, deputies observed two male subjects in the roadway. One, later identified as Harper, fled but was quickly apprehended.
A records check on Harper turned up a felony warrant from Mohave County Superior Court and misdemeanor warrant from Kingman Municipal Court. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Joseph Edmund Tyree, 52, of Kingman on Thursday on a felony probation violation warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections and misdemeanor contempt of court warrants out of Kingman Municipal Court and Kingman Justice Court.
Detectives contacted Tyree in the 3000 block of Jagerson Avenue regarding his three warrants, a news release from the MCSO stated. He was taken into custody and booked into Mohave County Jail.
WIKIEUP - Guardian Air flew a man injured in a rollover accident Friday night from the scene to a Las Vegas hospital.
About 10 p.m., an engine and two personnel from the Pinion Pine Fire Department responded to milepost 114 on U.S. 93, firefighter Ken Milner said.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle about 25 feet off the roadway. They used the Jaws of Life to extricate the man from the vehicle.
A dispatcher with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said the victim was flown to University Medical Center. She could not release any further information.
The dispatcher and Milner both said they did not know if there were other victims in the crash.
