KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tamara Jean Gonzalez, 44, of Kingman early Saturday on a felony charge of aggravated DUI, and misdemeanor charges of DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15 percent and driving with a suspended license.

About 2:51 a.m., deputies contacted Gonzalez during a traffic stop on Skylark Street near Northern Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated. Deputies detected an odor of alcohol about Gonzalez as they approached her. A records check turned up the suspended license. After field sobriety testing, she was taken to Mohave County Jail, where analysis of her blood alcohol concentration was allegedly found to be .22 percent. Gonzalez was booked into jail. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Keith Melton, 33, of Kingman on Saturday on two felony warrants, one for dangerous drug violation issued in Montana and the other for escape issued by Kingman Justice Court.

Acting on a tip, deputies located Melton in the 4300 block of Eagle Drive and contacted him regarding the warrants, a news release from the MCSO stated. He was taken into custody and booked into Mohave County Jail.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Ray Jankowski, 42, of Golden Valley on Saturday on felony charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

Deputies responded to a trespasser call in the 4000 block of Cowlic Road, a news release from the MCSO stated.

The 60-year-old female victim stated she asked Jankowski to leave her property and he refused, as he had two weeks earlier. Deputies contacted Jankowski as he drove his vehicle around the front of the property. After questioning, Jankowski was taken into custody. A subsequent search of the suspect and vehicle allegedly turned up a glass pipe with residue and tin box containing marijuana.

Jankowski was booked into Mohave County Jail. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joseph Patrick Shannon, 24, of Dolan Springs on Sunday on a felony charge of escape and three warrants issued by Kingman justice Court. The warrants included unlawful use of means of transportation, felony, and assault and assault/domestic violence, misdemeanors.

On March 30, deputies contacted Shannon at 15th Street and Lakeside Drive regarding a domestic violence incident the night before, a news release from the MCSO stated. Deputies were attempting to take Shannon into custody when he jerked away and fled on foot into the nearby desert. A search of the area failed to locate him.

On Sunday, deputies contacted Shannon at a residence in the 16800 block of Lakeside Drive and took him into custody. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Carrie Mae Carpenter, 23, of Golden Valley on Sunday on a felony conspiracy to commit escape warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court.

Deputies contacted Carpenter in the 3300 block of Chea Drive regarding the warrant, a news release from the MCSO stated. She was taken into custody and booked into Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Andrew Sullins, 45, of Kingman on Sunday on a felony charge of fraudulent use of a credit card and four misdemeanor warrants.

On June 18, deputies took a fraud report in the 4000 block of Stardust Road, a news release from the MCSO stated. The 73-year-old female victim said she discovered her credit card was stolen when the credit card company contacted her and advised of her suspicious card activity. Deputies traced fraudulent purchases and gathered evidence that included surveillance tapes.

On Sunday, Sullins was identified as the suspect. A records check on him turned up Kingman Justice Court warrants for contempt of court and driving on a suspended license, plus Kingman Municipal Court warrants for trespassing and failure to appear.

About 3:49 p.m., deputies contacted Sullins in the 3700 block of Diagonal Way and took him into custody. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
