KINGMAN - Kingman Police Department responded to an accident near the intersection of Bank Street and Gordon Drive Friday. Shawn Derrick Bell, 32, was arrested on charges of reckless driving, felony criminal damaging, no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended license. Bell allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and then attempted to pass traffic by leaving the roadway, hitting a truck pulling a trailer full of new windows. According to police reports the truck was pushed 20 feet away before coming to a rest on a fire hydrant. The accident reportedly caused $1,500 worth of damage.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Aaron Lee Calder, 38, of Kingman Wednesday evening on a probation violation felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court and misdemeanor warrant for assault and disorderly conduct per domestic violence issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Approximately 10:31 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at Calle Lucero and Avenida Verde and contacted Calder, the driver. A records check showed Calder to have the outstanding warrants.
Calder was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Jimmie Joe Bumbalough, 23, of Kingman on Monday on felony charges of criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia, plus misdemeanor charges of shoplifting and false reporting to police.
Officers responded to a business in the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road, where store personnel had detained Bumbalough for allegedly shoplifting, a news release from the KPD stated.
Bumbalough reportedly gave officers a false name when first contacted, but was positively identified from ID found in his possession. He also allegedly was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
After being taken into custody, Bumbalough allegedly damaged store shelving as well as the trunk section of a patrol car.
He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
