KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Thaer Jamal Al-Khatib, 26, of Kingman on Friday on a felony charge of escape from Mohave County Jail.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 2200 block of Hualapai Mountain Road involving Al-Khatib yelling for someone to call 911, a news release from the KPD stated.
Officers contacted Al-Khatib, who appeared to be under the influence and possibly hallucinating. It was soon learned that Al-Khatib had failed to return to the jail from a work release March 3. He was returned to jail and booked on the escape charge.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Bradford Eaton, 28, of Kingman on Friday on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 66 near milepost 63.5, a news release from the MCSO stated. The driver was arrested on two misdemeanor charges and two misdemeanor warrants. A records check on Eaton, the passenger, turned up the felony warrant and he was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a glass pipe with residue under the passenger seat.
Both suspects were booked into Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sarah Leann Davidson, 27, of Kingman on Friday night on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor probation violation warrant out of Kingman Municipal Court.
About 10:42 p.m., deputies contacted Davidson as she walked along Norrie Drive toward Butler Avenue, a news release from the MCSO stated. A records check uncovered the warrant and Davidson was taken into custody. A search of her person allegedly produced numerous syringes.
Davidson was booked into Mohave County Jail.
