John C. Potter Jr., 36, of St. Albans, W.Va., formerly of Kingman, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007. He was born May 11, 1970, the son of John C. Potter Sr. and Deborah Kenney. John lived in Kingman before moving to St. Albans to be with his kids. He was employed with Bob Evans, Cross Lanes, as a chef. He was a loving father, son and brother who was always willing to help and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life, Lacey McDaniel of St. Albans; his son, Brady, and daughter, Breanna, both of St. Albans; his father, John (Annette) Potter Sr. of Kingman; brother, David (Danalle) Potter of Ventura, Calif.; stepbrother, Todd (Pam) Richardson of Queen Creek, Ariz.; stepsister, Kim (Jim) Fass of Kingman; nephews, Nathan and Collin Potter of Ventura; and nieces, Kara Fass of Kingman and Matracia and Chyanne Richardson of Queen Creek.
A celebration of John's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at Casdorph and Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans. A time of remembrance will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Online condolences can be sent to www.casdorphandcurry.com.
