Boys 4th at Winslow

KINGMAN - The Kingman High boys track team finished fourth last Friday at the Winslow Invitational, their final meet prior to this week's region championships.

The Bulldog boys scored 60 points, with seven different athletes placing in the top eight in individual events. Kingman's girls team was 10th, scoring 23 points.

Matt Snay placed in all three of his events, winning the 1,600-meter run by more than four seconds with a time of 4 minutes, 32.21 seconds. He was second in the 800 (1:59.76) and seventh in the 3,200.

Orry Berlemann was third in the 400 (52.82), with Wes Anderson finishing fifth in the same event. Mike Bartholomew (4th) and Dan Light (6th) each scored points in the 300 hurdles.

Matt Dally was third in the long jump at 18 feet, 6.5 inches, and sixth in the triple jump. Jesse Posey was fourth in the triple jump (38', 3.5").

For the girls, Jessica Reinoso was fourth in the 800. Marie Boone was fifth in the 400 and Rachelle Bullen was seventh in the shot put.

All three boys and girls relay teams placed, including a third-place finish for the 4x800 girls team (10:32.41).

Kingman competes in the finals of the Northwest Region Championships on Friday.
