David Robert Anderson of Kingman passed away at his home on Saturday, May 12, 2007.
He was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Green Bay, Wis.
He came to Kingman 40 years ago from Green Bay.
He cowboyed for several ranches in Arizona and Texas, worked for 18 years for American Woodmark, was foreman at Carnation Company in Orange County, Calif., for nine years and was an ironworker at Anderson's Ornamental Iron for 30 years.
He rode 11 years with Flying "U" Rodeo.
David was a life member of VFW, Eagles, Eagles Home for Children, and was with the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.
David is survived by his wife, Peggi (Margaret) Anderson of Kingman; his daughters, Tierra Anderson of Kingman, Tracy Green of Phoenix, Joelene Tryon of Conway, Alaska, and Julie McCoy and Marylynn Anderson of Fort Smith, Alaska; and his sons, Wade Anderson and Justin Monteiro of Kingman, and Richard Tryon of Eldorado Springs, Mo., and John David Cozis of Dallas.
He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Anderson of Green Bay; one sister, Lynette Shelton of Denver; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 21, at the Eagles Aerie on Patsy Drive.
Cremation is being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Eagle's Cancer Association in David's name.
