KINGMAN - The Kingman Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon. One engine with four personnel and a battalion chief responded at 12:12 p.m. to the 1700 block of Airway Avenue. At the scene, a motorcycle and car had collided. The accident is under investigation. The motorcycle was driven by at 21-year-old male. The rider, who wasn't wearing a helmet, suffered abrasions and head trauma. He was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center. The car was driven by an 83-year-old woman. She was evaluated and determined to have no injuries.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bobby Charles Archer, 36, of Kingman early Tuesday morning on two felony warrants for contempt of court and failure to appear, both issued by Mohave County Superior Court, and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. At approximately 12:54 a.m., deputies contacted Archer at a residence in the 2300 block of Thompson Avenue regarding his outstanding warrants. He was taken into custody without incident before being transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kimberly Kay Lindsey, 42, of Golden Valley early Saturday evening on a felony warrant for aggravated assault and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court, both issued by Kingman Justice Court. At approximately 5:45 p.m., deputies responded to a minor traffic accident in a parking lot located in the 4200 block of Highway 68. A records check showed one of the drivers, identified as Lindsey, to have outstanding warrants. She was taken into custody without incident before being transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail on Saturday of an inmate assaulting another inmate. At approximately 2 p.m., deputies contacted the detention officer who reported that he was moving two inmates from the visiting booth area when one of the inmates, identified as Michael Dustin Schwartz, 22, of Lake Havasu City, assaulted the other inmate, a 40-year-old male. Deputies contacted the victim and the victim reported that Schwartz started hitting him for no reason. Schwartz was charged with aggravated assault. Schwartz has been in custody since July 7 for armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnap and misconduct involving a weapon.
