GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Larry Charles Lane Jr., 38, of Golden Valley late Wednesday morning for failure to register as a sex offender. At approximately 10:01 a.m., deputies contacted Lane at Chino Road and Avi Vaca Road. Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registration officer informed deputies that Lane had failed to register as a sex offender. During the investigation, the Sex Offender Registration officer learned that Lane has been residing in Golden Valley between three to four months. Lane was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Michael Phelps, 29, of Kingman Monday for theft of means of transportation and criminal damage. On Aug. 17, deputies responded to a call in the 3700 block of Northfield Avenue and met with the female victim. The victim reported Phelps had been watching her house for her, and when she returned, she noticed her vehicle had been moved without her permission. The victim told deputies that she asked Phelps about the vehicle, he advised her he attempted to move the vehicle but it had ran out of gas. The victim reported she attempted to put more gasoline into the vehicle but it still would not start. The victim told deputies that her son looked at the vehicle and observed damage to the vehicle's motor.

Deputies contacted Phelps, who advised he did not drive the victim's vehicle. During an ongoing investigation, deputies learned that Phelps allegedly had been driving the vehicle when it broke down and he had the vehicle towed back to the victim's residence. On Monday, deputies contacted Phelps who was already in custody at the Mohave County Jail on unrelated charges. Deputies arrested Phelps at that time on the additional charges.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Billie Orlando Acuna, 19, of Kingman Sunday afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. At approximately 4 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Norrie Drive and Hearne Avenue. A records check showed Acuna, the driver, to have a suspended driver's license. A further check revealed Acuna to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Acuna was taken into custody without incident. A search revealed Acuna to allegedly be in possession of a pipe in his pocket. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sean Michael Callaham, 40, of Kingman late Friday night on a felony warrant for fugitive from justice issued out of Lewis County Sheriff's Office in Washington. Approximately 11:10 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3100 block of Packard Avenue and contacted Callaham. A records check showed Callaham to have an outstanding warrant. He was taken into custody without incident before being transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Teresa Lynn Phillips, 35, of Bullhead City early Tuesday evening.At approximately 7:19 p.m., Phillips voluntarily came into the Mohave County Sheriff's Office and turned herself in on a probation violation felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court on original charges of theft. She was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
