Two dead in Golden Valley car crashes

This weekend turned out to be a deadly one for two motorists in Golden Valley.

Separate motor vehicle accidents on Saturday and Sunday killed two women.

Around 10:06 a.m. Saturday, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at a business located in the 3600 block of Highway 68.

Christina Kasprick, 39, of Dolan Springs was found injured and transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where she died.

"The investigation determined that Kasprick drove into the fuel station to get fuel and she got pinned between her vehicle and a pillar located near the fuel pump," Trish Carter, MCSO public information specialist, said in a news release.

Kasprick had exited her vehicle, Carter reported, and while reaching inside an open window of the vehicle the car moved, causing the fatal injuries.

On the following day, deputies responded to another single-vehicle accident, this time in the area Shinarump Drive and Aztec Road.

At approximately 6 p.m., they found Theodora Quezada, 73, of Golden Valley deceased in the driver's seat of the vehicle.

The 2005 Toyota Tundra she was driving had rolled over.

The cause of Quezada's death and the cause of the accident are unknown at this time, Carter said.

The investigation by the Sheriff's Office is ongoing.
