Walter Wallace (Wally) Brown, 80, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at his home in Kingman. He was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Williams to Albert Lawrence and Serena May Owen Brown. The youngest of three sons, he is preceded in death by both brothers, Albert N. and Charles M. Brown, both of Kingman.
Wally joined the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1945 and proudly served in China and Guam. He received an honorable discharge in 1949. He then returned to Arizona and went to work for Santa Fe Railroad from which he retired in 1986.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Delores Evelyn Stoll Brown; three children, Terri Ann Sullivan (Rocky), Walter Wallace Brown II (Stoney), and Brett Lane Brown (Terri). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Shawn Patrick Sullivan, Kevin Drew Sullivan, Walter ("Cody") Wallace Brown III, Daren Reed Griewe, and Miranda ("Randee") Lynn Brown.
