Common sense is called for

Quite often you hear people say that we need more education. There is a lot of education. What is really needed is people who can use pure and simple common sense.

Just recently, the city of Phoenix passed a law against texting while driving. Other cities are doing the same. It should be a state law. Driving is a full-time job. How can anyone texting while they are driving be able to keep their mind on driving? That also goes for talking on the phone while driving. Not too long ago I was driving in a parking lot. I saw this car coming. If I hadn't stopped that driver would have hit me. That driver had their cell phone in their right hand. That driver's vision was blocked.

I don't care how good a driver a person is. When you are talking on the phone while driving, you are distracted. Start using pure and simple common sense. The life you save may be your own.
