Janet E. Gatliff

Janet E. Ashby-Jackson-Gatliff was born in Phoenix on Jan. 3, 1934. She was raised in Christopher Creek, Ariz., and was a resident of Kingman since 1974.

She traveled throughout the state following road construction with her husband of 35 years, Walter E. Jackson. After his death, she later married Calvin V. Gatliff of Kingman.

She was a loving wife, mother to all and loyal friend. She will be greatly missed. Janet was the epitome of "Cowgirl Up!"

Janet is survived by her children, Jennifer Wolfe, Walter Jackson Jr., Penny Wyllie and Christopher Jackson. She is also survived by brothers, Glen and Clayton Ashby; sisters, Alice Bastion and Christine Dudley; grandchildren, Aleena, Vanessa, Shawn, Brian, Beth, Lacey, Ashly and Jeromy; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Courtney, Hailey, Cody, Kylie, Donte, Stephanie and Zoi.

The Rev. Jennifer Wolfe will commemorate the celebration of Janet's life with a graveside service to be held in Payson, Ariz., at the Pioneer Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7.
