County deputies respond to explosives call

BULLHEAD CITY - Mohave County deputies responded to an explosives call around 10:48 a.m. on Thursday near Finger Rock off of Highway 68. The deputies found two sticks of dynamite and around a dozen blasting caps inside an overturned, abandoned vehicle. The Kingman Police Department Bomb Squad responded to the scene and took possession of the explosives. The dirt road was reopened around 2:45 p.m.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to the jail at around 11:40 p.m. on Saturday. A detention officer reported that inmate Bennett Franklin Price, 36, of Kingman broke a fire sprinkler inside his cell. Price admitted to breaking the sprinkler. He was charged with jail destruction/injury to jail, a felony.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Russell Gamron, 21, of Golden Valley around 8:45 a.m. on Monday for failing to register as a sex offender. The Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registration Officer learned that Gamron had moved recently. He failed to update his address records as required.
