KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rex Carl Sagely, 59, of Kingman Wednesday on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI. Deputies stopped Sagely's vehicle around 10:30 p.m. near Stockton Hill Road and Camelback. Deputies smelled alcohol on his breath and asked him to complete a series of field sobriety tests. Sagely was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. He refused to take a breath-analysis test. A blood sample was taken and sent to the Department of Public Safety's crime lab. He was booked into the jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kevin Darnell Higdon, 45, of Kingman Wednesday on suspicion of felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. On July 31, deputies were called to Kingman Regional Medical Center in response to a possible assault. According to MCSO, a woman told deputies that Higdon had cut her with a knife at a residence in the 3100 block of Northfield Avenue. He also allegedly grabbed her by the neck and threw her into a counter in the kitchen. The woman had a cut about four inches long on her left arm. Deputies attempted to contact Higdon several times. They were finally able to contact him at 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 6. Higdon told deputies the two were arguing and that she punched him. He also said that he accidentally cut her with the knife. He was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Edward Sealey, 37, of Kingman Wednesday on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI and misdemeanor DUI and driving with a suspended license. Deputies stopped Sealey's vehicle around 2 a.m. near Northern Avenue. Deputies smelled alcohol on Sealey. Sealey allegedly admitted to having a few drinks earlier. A records check revealed Sealey had a suspended driver's license out of Alabama. Sealey was taken into custody after taking several field sobriety tests. He was booked into the county jail with a blood alcohol concentration of .103 percent.
