William Prescott Jr., 69, of Kingman, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all, passed away peaceably with his family by his side on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Indianola, Okla., and came to Kingman 11 years ago from Petaluma, Calif.
Bill was a master carpenter and architect all of his life. He was a member of the D.A.V., Moose, Angel Network and Praise Chapel Singles. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, El and Ethel Prescott; his beloved wife, Flora Prescott; and his younger brother, Jerry Prescott. He is survived by two daughters, Margaret Carlucci and Debbie Anderson; two granddaughters, Jackie Abruzzini and Emily Anderson; and two sons-in-law, Joe Anderson and Shaun Abruzzini - all of Kingman. He is also survived by four brothers and their wives, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St., Kingman.
